Baby Shower, Farewell Neighbors, and off to Utah!

Friends in our Toledo ward threw a little baby shower for Little Robby and I on Saturday, May 23rd. Great company, great food, and a fun time!
Check out my baby blog for more pictures and stuff about the shower!
(There is a link off to the right of this blog that will take you to my Toller Tot blog)

Our upstairs neighbors, the Snows  , have graduated from medical school and will be moving on to Columbus for residency. They have been such great neighbors. I'll miss being able to go up and chat with Jenny and Jake. We will miss our little pal Madison coming down to visit. We'll miss hearing her out in the halls saying "Steve and Jenni?"  I'm sure we'll even miss the patter of her feet on our ceiling! The Snows left for a trip to DC and unfortunately we'll be on a trip to Utah when they return and they will move to Columbus the day before we get back to Toledo. So, this past Sunday was our last time seeing them. It was sad to see them go.
Good luck in Columbus old neighbors!

Steve and I are now in Utah where we will be for nearly the next three weeks.  We are excited to have time to visit family and friends out here before I get TOO far along in my pregnancy.  Just over 9 weeks left until our Little Robby should be joining us!!!

One Year Down!!!!

Well, today Steve took his last final. He is officially done with his first year of medical school! This picture displays most of the notes he had to study and know through out the year. That is a lot of notes!!! That's not even including the text books he would look in as well......
I am so proud of him and can't believe he has already accomplished a whole year! Good Job Steve!!!
Tonight we are going to a Thai restaurant to celebrate. MMMMMmmmmm.....

Mother

Thank you......

For giving me life.

For sharing your musical talents and helping me gain a love for music.

For comforting me when times were rough....

and being there for every important event.

Thank you for....

Adventures in traveling.

Being silly and laughing with me uncontrollably even when we don't know why!

Thank you for....

Being my best friend (right up there with Steve, of course)...

and listening to me ramble to you on the phone nearly every day... sometimes multiple times a day!

Thank you for all you have taught me, for the example you have been, and for letting me see the joys (and pains) of motherhood. I am so blessed to have you as my mother and am greatful that my little boy will have you for his grandmother.

I love you Mom.

Happy Mother's Day

Love,
Jenni
